Which pieces are smart to buy used, which are not, and how pre-owned furniture is checked before it sells.
On this page
Good commercial furniture is built to outlast the lease it was bought for. That is why pre-owned furniture can be one of the best-value decisions an office makes – if you know what to look for.
Great buys used
- Panel systems and cubicles – they reconfigure and re-cover well
- Steel filing and storage
- Conference and training tables
- Laminate and wood desks from established manufacturers
Look closer at
Task chairs are used hardest. A pre-owned chair from a quality maker can be excellent, but mechanisms, cylinders and upholstery need checking. That is why every chair we sell is tested first.
How we check it
Anything pre-owned is inspected before it reaches the floor: mechanisms tested, surfaces cleaned, damaged parts swapped or the piece pulled. Panels can be re-covered and work surfaces refinished on request.
