R&D Installations wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. Among the things we have done:
- text and buttons are checked for color contrast;
- every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “skip to content” link;
- images carry text descriptions, and headings and landmarks give pages a clear structure;
- form fields are labelled and errors are described in words;
- animation and scrolling motion are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion;
- pages work when zoomed and on small screens.
Known limitations
Some parts of the site come from other providers – such as the map at the foot of each page – and may not be fully accessible. The places the map shows are also listed in text for screen readers, and everything on the map is available by calling us.
